Package: smarty3 Version: 3.1.10-2 Severity: normal The smarty3 debian/rules build target in debian/rules is empty, which I assume means that no compilation is taking place. While incredibly the policy manual doesn't seem to require that source packages actually build from source instead of using upstream's precompiled binaries, I believe it is in the spirit of the policy to actually compile from source.
One example of a file where the precompiled version is used is development/lexer/smarty_internal/configfileparser.y which should be (but currently isn't) compiled into the binary file distribution/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templateparser.php Regards, Thue -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages smarty3 depends on: ii php5 5.4.4-14+deb7u14 ii php5-cli 5.4.4-14+deb7u14 smarty3 recommends no packages. smarty3 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
