Package: libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 Version: 2.0.0+dfsg1-3 Severity: normal Hi there,
I was a bit shocked to see that the SDL2-Mixer package in Debian still pulls in the huge, low-quality freepats sound fonts package. I mean, haven't we got over this for SDL1.2-Mixer in #715461 by making sure the fluidsynth backend works with the Debian-packaged sf2 sound fonts out of the box? The patch discussed there (which is applied to the libsdl-mixer1.2 package) does not apply cleanly to SDL2-Mixer, but in principle the required changes would be similar. And, please, make sure to get this included upstream as well. ;) Cheers, Fabian -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (900, 'unstable'), (800, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 depends on: ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libflac8 1.3.0-2 ii libfluidsynth1 1.1.6-2 ii libmad0 0.15.1b-8 ii libmodplug1 1:0.8.8.4-4.1 ii libsdl2-2.0-0 2.0.2+dfsg1-4 ii libvorbisfile3 1.3.2-1.4 ii multiarch-support 2.19-11 Versions of packages libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 recommends: pn freepats <none> libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
