Package: gnumeric Version: 1.12.18-1 Severity: normal I have been using gnumeric for many years including the sort function. But it now seems to be broken. On the other hand, it isn't documented so maybe I do not understand how to use the new version. But I have had no problems before.
OK. I highlight a block of cells, then select [Data] -> [Sort] and get the usual window. The radio buttons "left-right" and "top-bottom" are no longer sticky: they seem to do something, but they remain remain clear except during a click. Likewise the other tick boxes are always clear, although experiments suggest that some of them are already selected which is extremely confusing. I noticed a message: (gnumeric:2139): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_radio_button_set_group: assertion '!gslist_find failed' Trying to carry out sorts, nothing happens. Whether this is because tick boxes are selected that I cannot see, I am not sure. But I have now had one success, so maybe it is those unknown tick box contents being wrong. Anyway, it needs an urgent fix. ---------------------------------------------------------------- -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnumeric depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.53 ii gnumeric-common 1.12.18-1 ii gsfonts 1:8.11+urwcyr1.0.7~pre44-4.2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-5 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.0-2 ii libgoffice-0.10-10 0.10.18-1 ii libgsf-1-114 1.14.30-2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.1-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-2 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-2 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-4 ii procps 2:3.3.9-8 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2 Versions of packages gnumeric recommends: ii evince 3.14.0-2 ii gnumeric-doc 1.12.18-1 ii lp-solve 5.5.0.13-7+b1 Versions of packages gnumeric suggests: ii fonts-liberation 1.07.4-1 pn gnumeric-plugins-extra <none> -- debconf information: gnumeric/existing-process-title: gnumeric/existing-process: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
