Thank you for outlining this. Actually I don't like that much dealing
with docs, so patches to the manpages are more than welcome (otherwise
my manpages have good chances to stay out-of-date).

But as you pointed out linking #765810, maybe it's better to fix it,
rather than suggesting in the manpages to use LD_PRELOAD directly
(well, originally the library was though to work so, but the eatmydata
wrapper (the script) was written just to avoid using LD_PRELOAD
directly).

With regards to the setarch note, I'd generalize it to include all
calls to any non-host architectures (say, people who
install/run/whatever binaries from other arches, through chroots or
because of M-A capable programs).

What do you think?
