Hi

After the latest dist-upgrade of debian unstable, php4_pgsql (which has a lower version number than the other php4 items!) was uninstalled. Reinstalling it works fine, but you can't connect a Postgres DB from PHP even after installation. I'm using the DB classes of PEAR which return a "cannot connect to database" error. The Postgres log shows no attempt of connecting. And phpinfo() claims --without-pgsql.

Can it be that libapache-mod was compiled without pgsql support this time? Or is the slightly different version of php4_pear the problem?

Kernel 2.4.27-1-386

Many thanks,
-sven
