What is your defult priority for seeing questions?

from latest debconf changelog:

debconf (1.4.61) unstable; urgency=low

 * The default debconf priority changes from medium to high in this release.
This is consistent with the default pririty used already for fresh
installs by d-i, and with the definitions of debconf priorities -- high
priority questions have no reasonable default answer so should be
displayed, while medium priority questions do have a default and can be
   skipped easily.

Please do not use this change as an excuse to inflate priorities of
   questions!

See if downgrading this to medium you get them again.

Thanks!

Hello Amaya,

thanks for your quick answer !
I am in medium and I also tried in low but it still doesn't work.

To work around the problem I tested with the stable version :
- downloaded the stable version on http://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/lirc
- installed with "dpkg -i lirc_0.7.1pre2-2_i386.deb"
=> I got the debconf during the install
=> after the install "dpkg-reconfigure lirc" show the debconf menu without problems
- upgraded to unstable version with aptitude
=> after the upgrade "dpkg-reconfigure lirc" not working again

I saw in the lirc changelog that french translation was added to debconf, I wonder if there is a link.

Best regards,
Matthieu
