Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: wishlist Dear BTS Maintainers,
I recently stumbled over https://bugs.debian.org/766807 where the original reporter's mail has the following From- and Envelope-From header: From: tester <[email protected]> Received: from c-24-15-20-227.hsd1.il.comcast.net ([24.15.20.227] helo=wheezy.localdomain) by buxtehude.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 4.80) (envelope-from <[email protected]>) id 1XiBeR-0005JZ-Nw for [email protected]; Sun, 26 Oct 2014 00:25:44 +0000 I'm not sure if this was on purpose, for trolling or just a badly misconfigured MUA and MTA, but IMHO the bug tracking system should reject such mails generally. For a list of domains to reject see https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2606#section-3 Regards, Axel -- ,''`. | Axel Beckert <[email protected]>, http://people.debian.org/~abe/ : :' : | Debian Developer, ftp.ch.debian.org Admin `. `' | 1024D: F067 EA27 26B9 C3FC 1486 202E C09E 1D89 9593 0EDE `- | 4096R: 2517 B724 C5F6 CA99 5329 6E61 2FF9 CD59 6126 16B5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
