This seems to have been fixed by upstream in
https://github.com/zaf/Asterisk-eSpeak/commit/bf0c07f59b0b62a609a1e94dff40171c09f16e5d
I would suggest to get the latest upstream version, which is verified to
build with Asterisk 13.
