I found a workaround, but the bug is still there. Using simple-scan, I found that:
if xHCI support for USB ports is "disabled" in BIOS, Lide30 and Lide 110 work. if xHCI support for USB ports is in "smart auto" or "auto" in BIOS, the lide 30 scanner seems stalled for a long time (maybe one minute), then the scan starts and succeeds. The lide 110 moves its head to some position (not the top of the page) then is stalled. if xHCI support for USB ports is in "enabled" in BIOS, then nothing work. My motherboard is an ASUS B85M-G and I updated the BIOS (BIOS build date is 11 august 2014). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
