Thanks, Yann >From bconsole: *update Update choice: 1: Volume parameters 2: Pool from resource 3: Slots from autochanger Choose catalog item to update (1-3): 3 Automatically selected Storage: Exabyte Connecting to Storage daemon Exabyte at pollux:9103 ... 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command. 3991 Bad autochanger "loaded drive 0" command: ERR=Child exited with code 1. 3306 Issuing autochanger "list" command. No Volumes found to label, or no barcodes. It seems that Bacula doesn't find a tape in the drive. There is however a tape in the drive. The command works ok manually with /etc/bacula/scripts/mtx-changer Please tell me if you need other configuration parameters from my setup. # /etc/bacula/scripts/mtx-changer /dev/sg2 loaded drive 0 1 # mtx status Storage Changer /dev/changer:1 Drives, 10 Slots ( 0 Import/Export ) Data Transfer Element 0:Full (Storage Element 1 Loaded):VolumeTag = Storage Element 1:Empty:VolumeTag= Storage Element 2:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 3:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 4:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 5:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 6:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 7:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 8:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 9:Full :VolumeTag= Storage Element 10:Full :VolumeTag= Extract of /etc/bacula/bacula-sd.conf: Device { Name = Exabyte Media Type = Tape Archive Device = /dev/st0 LabelMedia = yes; Random Access = No; AutomaticMount = yes; RemovableMedia = yes; AlwaysOpen = yes; Autochanger = Yes Changer Device = /dev/sg2 Changer Command = "/etc/bacula/scripts/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d" Alert Command = "sh -c 'tapeinfo -f %c |grep TapeAlert|cat'" } # tapeinfo -f /dev/sg2 Product Type: Medium Changer Vendor ID: 'EXABYTE ' Product ID: 'VXA 1x10 1U ' Revision: 'A108' Attached Changer: No SerialNumber: '000086003524' TapeAlert[15]:Undefined.
