Package: gaim Version: 1:1.1.2-2 Severity: normal Hi, using evolution plugin a strange behaviour occurs adding a new buddy:
buddies -> add buddy I associate a buddy with a contact in Adress Book and add the IM ID into it. Say I add 'foo' as AIM screen name. A new buddy is added to my contact list, with the right AIM icon on its left and the name from AB. I can write to him and he can write to me. foo screenname is correctly logged in. Problem: when I go offline in ICQ the buddy added as AIM goes offline too. Obviously it shouldn't and all the others buddy in AIM (added without evolution plugin) don't. I've tried the same adding an ICQ buddy in AB. It behaves exactly at the opposite: it goes offline when AIM protocol goes offline. For both the examples: if I go offline with the 'right' protocol, the buddy is still online. Is seem completly associated with the wrong protocol even if it's shown as the right one (right icons). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-kazoo1 Locale: LANG=C, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages gaim depends on: ii gaim-data 1:1.1.2-2 multi-protocol instant messaging c ii libao2 0.8.5-1 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libaspell15 0.50.5-5 The GNU Aspell spell-checker runti ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-5 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcrypt11 1.2.0-11 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.1-3 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-13 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.4.14-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkspell0 2.0.8-1 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.0-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System Session Management ii libstartup-notification0 0.8-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
