the self-made progress bar implementation introduced in 1.2 did replace
the bloated Term::ProgressBar::Simple package. The new implementation
did not validate if it runs interactive. I've fixed it upstream.

line 84.
This simular problem happens while needrestart tries to query the user
which services should be restarted. Upstream's stdio UI has been patched
to restart *none* of the services if /dev/stdin is not available. If you
want needrestart to restart services automaticly you have to change the
$nrconf{restart} config option accordingly.
