Package: elinks Version: 0.10.4-7 Severity: normal upon startup elinks tries to create a socket $HOME/.elinks/socket. This socket is used for inter process communication between different elinks instances.
If your home directory is an openafs volumn elinks fails to create this socket, because openafs doesn't allow the creation of sockets. Without this socket elinks is not able to handle bookmarks history etc. This problem can be avoided by creating the socket in an other directory (i.e. /tmp ;-)).
