I don't think this is reasonable. You're not running into any serious issues, it's just a minor annoyance and should not be something we should be worrying about for Jessie. You can just disable your screensaver for the time being when watching a video or just move the mouse for a second, not really a big deal. I understand that users are looking for the perfect, bug-free desktop experience. But please understand that not all issues are important enough that they should immediately be worked on.
