           That was the whole point of my moving from Squeeze to
           Wheezy.   But I seem to have taken a step backward.

Do you think I should submit another bug report, this time about
pulseaudio?  I don't understand why an "upgrade" is necessary.
Maybe I should go back to Squeeze;  I still have the set of
DVDs.

Do you perhaps know of a Debian expert who really knows about
how sound works, on Wheezy?
