I've also checked the patch for #768664 with a fresh testing sbuild chroot - this needs a separate fix, the testing build fails in the same way.
Looks like a bug in scons 2.3.1-1 in testing, 2.3.1-2 in unstable. Downgrading the version of scons in a sid chroot with the patch for #768664 applied changes a previously working build to a failure with the same message as #768714. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
