Dear Maintainer,
I have a problem with sane and Canon MG5240 which is an MFU with printer,
scanner and card reader.
lsusb reports device as:
Bus 004 Device 024: ID 04a9:1749 Canon, Inc.
Trying to scan with xscanimage or launch xsane results in very long wait.
The message appears in log:
kernel: usb 2-2: usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usblp while 'xsane' sets config

After removing usblp module, same thing happens, only this time:
kernel: usb 2-2: usbfs: interface 2 claimed by usb-storage while 'xsane' sets
config #1
Scan is only possible after removing both usblp and usb-storage.
In the same time both card reader and printer work (before removing modules).
So the problem seems to be related to sane.
