package: ruby
version: 1:2.1.0.4
severity: critical
justification: bundle command fails

On a sid chroot, bundle install fails with the following error message

when following steps at https://wiki.debian.org/Diaspora (tried two
times in and old chroot as well as an updated chroot)

Could not load OpenSSL.
You must recompile Ruby with OpenSSL support or change the sources in your
Gemfile from 'https' to 'http'. Instructions for compiling with OpenSSL
using
RVM are available at http://rvm.io/packages/openssl.

On a fresh chroot with just bundler installed, this error does not come.

packages in diaspora-unreleased repo
(https://people.debian.org/~praveen/diaspora-unreleased/pool/main/r/)
are gem2deb generated (packaging them for debian proper is in progress).
