I am experiencing a similar problem. I build with pdebuild using the following: svn-builder=pdebuild --buildresult `pwd`/../build-area Despite the fact that my build results end up in the same place as the would have if built with dpkg-buildpackage, I get the folloiwng error when lintian is invoked: lintian /.../packages/libjgrapht-java/ error: cannot find binary, udeb or source package /.../packages/libjgrapht-java/ in dist or lab (skipping) If it would simply check in the build-area directory, where the results normally would have been placed, then it would find everything it needed.
