It's just that I've contributed upstream and in Debian, and I wouldn't want the package to be dropped from testing.

The dependencies were uninstallable on my system, but I contribute upstream and I can compile and use it just fine, so I dropped them rather than spending time to convince them to install. Perhaps it is just a local version problem, but to avoid the build to fail, I thought it was a desiderable action.
