Without it, it's very hard to use miniupnpd when v6 is configured; changing the bindv6only sysctl will probably break other software on the system, so it's not a very good workaround. While this issue would not affect me personally in jessie (I'm running unstable on the box I want to run miniupnpd on), it seems like it would be good to get it into the release if possible.
