Package: electrum Version: 1.9.8-3 Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
When adding a new contact in Electrum, both the Label and the Address are shown in a regular (sans-serif) font. When typing over an address, monospace greatly enhances the possibility to distinguish similar glyphs in order to make sure the correct address is inserted. This is especially important since screwing up the address can give issues, as well as that Electrum doesn't allow you to change the address afterword (for good reasons it seems). So if you've made a typo, you can only delete a contact and create a new one in order to correct your mistake. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages electrum depends on: ii python 2.7.8-2 ii python-electrum 1.9.8-3 electrum recommends no packages. electrum suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
