I thought I had a few malformed mp3s, so I moved several out of the way, which would cause it to work a little further and then crash again, but it quickly became clear that there was something else going on.
In the meantime, I stopped using mpd, because having only 10 songs in my database was driving me nuts. What do you think about uploading a new version with this patch to see if it solves the issue?
