Looking at the suggested

        https://packages.debian.org/testing/allpackages

it is slow - but I am not seeing how to reproduce the problem.  For instance
if I type
        0
        1
        2
        3
        0
        p
        <return>

I get the

        Follow link (or goto link or page) number:

and can edit the line, and on pressing <return>, lynx shows page 1230
