By the way, currently the QR code has a (L)ow error correction level. You can
raise that to a (M)edium error correction level without the QR code getting any
larger (the size of the fingerprint is fixed, so this will generally be true for
an OPENPGP4FPR: URI). qrencode accepts an argument -lM to specify a medium error
correction level. So you get a more resilient QR code for free.

monkeysign also generates them with medium error correction level.

I thought I should mention this here because if you were to change the
invocation of the qrencode program related to this bug, you might as well do
this in one go. I'm sorry if you consider it inappropriate here.
