Thanks for taking the time to review the piuparts logs. Due to the excellent overview at tracker.debian.org I already noticed this and fixed it in commit http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/mariadb-10.0.git/commit/?id=4391238d8a0d2f036978a07e11d0a62dc55f8f74 but haven't yet uploaded.
