I can't reproduce your bug. I test on minimalist testing/jessie environment without pulseaudio packages installed (only gstreamer alsa) and I can play mp3 and ogg files without any troubles. Could you still reproduce this bug after last upgrades? Could you play mp3/ogg files with other music player that use gstreamer plugin too? It would help if you can test this issue on a similar setup but on an other system than a powerpc.
