Looking closer at libmarkdown-php, it seems to actually track the “classic version” of PHP Markdown [1], so I’ll take care instead of packaging php-markdown (i.e., the library) in its own package. 1: https://michelf.ca/projects/php-markdown/classic/ I still believe libmarkdown-php is not an accurate package name for a PHP package, and let this bug open. I’ll base the php-markdown package on this one, I guess both descriptions may deserve to be polished in order to offer our users something to help them distinguish the two packages, their goals, and their targeted audiences.
