Package: openmw Version: 0.34.0-1 Severity: important This bug is already filed upstream[1], but since it is only reproducible on Debian and upstream suspects it's related to some strange configuration in the Debian version of ogre, I thought it would be good to file it here too.
To the bug itself: When casting some spells like fireball or firebite (and hitting a target), the game crashes by failing some assertion related to ogre. Sometimes other weapons result in the same crash, but weapons like hammers and axes trigger it far more often than weapons like bows or swords. This seems to be reproducable on i386 only. Please look at the upstream bug report for more information. I'm willing to help diagnose things, but may not have the time to do it.
