Hi, Thanks for the patch.
I'll add the script for now as an example as I want to release a version and I have some notes on it: Some changes: * Moved it to be under debian/, as asterisk-config and certainly asterisk-config-custom is Debian-specific. * Made it a /bin/sh script. Slightly uglier, but I prefer it that way. * Is there any better suggestion than: 'Maintainer: Me Myself <${LOGNAME}@$( hostname --fqdn )>' ? * The configuration generated by it is not usable. I don't think asterisk will even start that way. But I didn't check it yet. But fine tuning that could be done later. > --- a/debian/control > +++ b/debian/control > @@ -278,3 +278,6 @@ > Asterisk is an Open Source PBX and telephony toolkit. > . > This package contains the default configuration files of Asterisk. > + . > + With program asterisk-config-custom in the asterisk package, > + you can create an asterisk-config replacement package. I also still don't like the name of the program.
