In future, in case we want to improve OpenPGPcard v1.0 support, we should think about these portability issues. Well, the fix is basically for correctness of the code. I applied it to all branches (STABLE-BRANCH-1-4, STABLE-BRANCH-2-0, and master). I know the code is not used for gpg 1.4, but it's better to have code in sync. IIRC, in natural language, "SunOS" usually referred version 4 or earlier (uname returned "SunOS" on the machine of "Solaris" 2 or later). If the bug existed in version 5 or later, it would also exist in other SVR4 based Operating System. And... I don't think version 4 had USB support.
