Package: fonts-wqy-microhei Version: 0.2.0-beta-2 Severity: normal Hi,
While doing some rendering of Shift-JIS portion of this entire font, I found a few characters which are missing but probably should exist (so it can be used to view Shift-JIS files). I also found a few characters which are obviously wrong. There's probably more than this, but here's what I found: Missing == U+203E OVERLINE U+2103 DEGREE CELSIUS U+2119 DEGREE FARENHEIT U+212B ANGSTROM SIGN U+2164 ROMAN NUMERAL FIVE U+2169 ROMAN NUMERAL TEN Interestingly, all of these characters are actually valid blank glyphs in the font file (rather than producing a question mark). Incorrectly Drawn === U+00BD VULGAR FRACTION ONE HALF U+00BD VULGAR FRACTION THREE QUARTERS U+215C VULGAR FRACTION THREE EIGHTHS Thanks, James -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) fonts-wqy-microhei depends on no packages.
