Please, could you check, whether such request really exists ? I can't found it neither in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=ftp.debian.org, neither http://packages.qa.debian.org/libs/libsndfile0.html shows such request (compare with http://packages.qa.debian.org/r/readline4.html).
