If you have read the changelog of the latest version of unison2.9.1, i think you will understand that i won't fix this bug ASAP (unison2.9.1 is only here to enable synchronizing sarge/etch/sid). I will maybe fix it, if i have some spare time (but i cannot really tell you when). If you want a better UI, try unison-gtk (version 2.13.16, latest stable). Anyway, i see this warning and don't know where was the problem. FYI, i have text in the button of my bottom bar...
