It's a bit inconvenient, but tt-rss is not the first package in
the Debian archive without upstream releases. I will just upload
snapshots from time to time.

it should be possible to run sid version in jessie. If you want a
clean backport feel free to maintain it.

Feel free to do so. Obviously I will continue using the package.
The tags from upstream were never that interesting.
