ZNC 1.6 was recently released as stable upstream, and includes new features and changes, including SSLProtocols and SSLCiphers configuration options support that was added in 1.4-2. I would like to see ZNC 1.6 packaged for Debian Unstable and later. There are multiple additional considerations and changes that may need to be reflected in the debian/control file: Build Depends: * GCC >= 4.7 is needed for C++11 support. * swig3.0 is now required for building Python and Perl module support. * libicu-dev (>= 52.1-3) is recommended for charset support.
