Here is what I did to test the new packages:
- Removed all traces of aspell from up to date Jessie system (dpkg -r
aspell libaspell15 aspell-en + manual cleanup of misc trials).
- Installed aspell packages from experimental + en package from sid:
sudo dpkg -i aspell_0.60.7~20110707-2~exp1_amd64.deb \
libaspell15_0.60.7~20110707-2~exp1_amd64.deb \
aspell-en_7.1-0-1.1_all.deb
- Tested recoll indexing, directory creation worked fine.
- Replaced aspell with standard Jessie packages -> fails again
I far as I can see, the new packages fix the problem.
