JFTR on Debian BTS (I think we communicated this on IRC already): This patchset won't make it to Debian jessie. In a private communication with Niel Thykier, he discouraged me of including this patchset in any of the upcoming uploads of m-s-d before jessie is released.
We will provide an m-s-d version containing this patch soon via experimental, though.
