Some more info on my bug posting before, but probably not related to
your team.
On my network of machines, apt-get update works fine on 4 of them,
fails on 2 of them.
The 4 working ones are 2.8GHz celerons, and the ones that fail are
2.8GHz xeons.
On further inspection, other things segfault on those two xeons.
Can you reassign this bug to the relevant kernel team, or whatever?
