I would definitely recommend trying the latest debian directory from SVN, but I would mention that I've also observed some syscalls failing in the PowerPC emulation for unknown reasons, and I'd be interested in any details you might have about that problem. In particular, I've observed poll() failing with EPERM, which shouldn't be possible. - Josh Triplett
