Package: arduino
Version: 2:1.0.5+dfsg2-4
Severity: normal

I have a few Arudino Leonardos of varying vintages.

One fails to reset on Jessie during the programming phase (but will reset
successfully on Wheezy using Arduino 1.0.1). Pressing the reset button
on the board manually makes programming complete correctly.

Vintage A reset:

Debian amd64 Jessie arduino 1.0.5 (debian): fails

Debian amd64 Jessie arduino 1.6.1 (upstream): fails

Debian amd64 Jessie arduino-mk 1.3.4 (debian): fails

Debian amd64 Wheezy arduino 1.0.1 (debian): OK (n.b. different computer
hardware vs previous 3 cases)

Windows 7 arduino 1.6.1: OK

The other vintage also fails to always reset, but seems OK with the
Arduino IDE (although not reliable with other software):

Vintage B reset:

Debian i386 Jessie arduino 1.0.5 (debian): OK

Debian i386 Jessie arduino-mk 1.3.4 (debian): fails

Debian amd64 Jessie arduino 1.0.5 (debian): OK (IIRC)

Debian amd64 Jessie arduino-mk 1.3.4 (debian): fails (IIRC)

Dunno if it's something to do with the bootloader version, or perhaps
the Linux kernel driver (or both?).

Tim.
