As of today this bug report is no more reproducible. It is possible to
install git-annex from the backports (and I already did on multiple
Debian stables) using the following command:
# aptitude install -t wheezy-backports git-annex
Note: obviously is not possible to install it, because of the wrong way
to deal with the pinning, either with:
aptitude install git-annex/wheezy-backports
aptitude install git-annex=5.20140927~bpo70+1
if it is has not already installed the git version from backports.
# apt-cache policy git git-annex

Candidate: 1:1.9.1-1~bpo70+2
