Because of the conversation below, I'm marking this as won't fix. Without a very strong amount of evidence that this will be used at least somewhat heavily, we won't be adding it.

Every module added requires that we consider manpower, maintainability, module history, expected usage, potential conflicts, and much more. Most modules that people request we include are part of a very tiny group of users that would want it. We added -extras to accommodate modules that are third party and have a large expected user base and won't become a maintenance nightmare. Someone offering to maintain their module only isn't something that we get too excited about. In most cases, we have to try teaching that person how to include it, how to test builds, and eventually they drop off from contact anyway. Naxsi is an excellent example of someone promising to help us maintain a package and then failing to follow through. Eventually, we had to simply remove it and the fallout was far from pleasant.
