Package: k3b Version: 0.11.19-1 Severity: grave
Hello,
This might be related to Bug#292892, since the symptoms are similar, in
which case it is presumably not actually a k3b bug. But it's not exactly the same so I figured I'd better report it here. I'm not sure whether this one should be "grave" or "important", but it certainly renders k3b entirely unusable to me, so I'm going for grave for now. Sorry if I have gotten this wrong.
When I start k3b, I get the splash-screen, and it gets to "Reading Local Song database". At this point it hangs, for several minutes, using most of my processor time. Then it crashes.
Running k3b from the terminal produces the following output:
helen:~> k3b k3b: ERROR: (K3bCdDevice) Unable to do inquiry. KCrash: Application 'k3b' crashing... zsh: alarm k3b
