Package: python-apt Version: 0.9.3.11 Severity: wishlist Hi,
python-apt uses an identifier for Multi-Arch:no called MULTI_ARCH_NONE which suggests that the value for "neither same, foreign nor allowed" would be "none" and not "no". This is especially worrisome because apt itself as well as the multiarch-spec after some erroneous edits listed "none" as the correct value. See #759099, #732648 and the discussion starting with <20140903082840.3685.79761@hoothoot>. And even after this had been solved, people continued to confuse "no" and "none" (see <20150417092706.GC9295@crossbow>). To finally purge the wrong value "none" it would be great if python-apt would deprecate the value MULTI_ARCH_NONE in favor of MULTI_ARCH_NO Thanks! cheers, josch -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
