Package: shfs-utils Version: 0.35-4 Severity: normal
Any command like this: (with -p (persistant) specified) # shfsmount -p <user>@<host>:<remote dir> <mnt point> Leads to the following error: ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/bin/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory Permission denied, please try again. Permission denied (gssapi-with-mic,publickey,gssapi,password,keyboard-interactive). shfsmount: Cannot create connection Installing ssh-askpass I'm able to mount remote share, anyway shfs-utils does not depend from it (and imho should not, as ssh-askpass is unsecure: its graphical interface gives to the observer information about the lenght of the password). However this command works fine (no -p): # shfsmount <user>@<host>:<remote dir> <mnt point> And produces the following output: Password: As the former should do. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages shfs-utils depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.62 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.5-8.1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an Versions of packages shfs-utils recommends: ii shfs-source 0.35-4 (secure) SHell File System module pn ssh-askpass <none> (no description available) -- debconf information: * shfs/suid: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
