Source: doc-rfc Severity: wishlist Hey.
Great to see doc-rfc updated :-) One thing that popped to my mind was, that it would be great to have the IDs packages as well. While that may sound unreasonable at first it may actually make sense in several cases: There are many "quasi-standards" which were formalised in an ID, but never made it into an RFC. Examples include, e.g.: - HKP (the HTTP keyserve protocol) http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-shaw-openpgp-hkp-00 - SFTP https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-secsh-filexfer-13 The example of SFTP also shows that it even makes sense to store all the different versions of the draft, e.g. OpenSSH restricts itself to SFTP as described in up to 02 or 03 (not sure which one exactly),... later one the whole thing was completely revised... and other SSH implementations pick parts of the later versions.
