Package: backup-manager
Version: 0.7.10.1-2
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i

Dear Maintainer,

I had to reinstall Debian Jessie "from scratch" and I did a fresh install
of backup-manager, which I use regularly.

The default /etc/backup-manager.conf generated during the installation of
the package generates errors. BM_UPLOAD_METHOD is set to "scp" which of
course does not work since there are no configuration options for it.
Also BM_BURNING_METHOD is set to "CDRW" which is I think not a very useful
default setting.

Each of those default settings will yield error logs during backup if one
is not careful to set them to "none" when modifying the configuration file
to set his own parameters.

I believe the two fields should be set to "none" at installation time.

Cheers!

mathieu
