Package: grub Version: 0.97-1 Severity: normal Hi,
the grub manual's troubleshooting section starts with "Errors reported by stage 1". However, there is a big deal of things that can go wrong before stage 1 was loaded. This is completely ignored by the manual. For example, what to do when booting stops _before_ GRUB is displayed? And what to do when booting stops after "GRUB", but before stage 1?
