Package: libav-tools Version: 6:0.8.17-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The avprobe and ffprobe tool fail to open a file with colon in the file name. Here is an example: % ffprobe makercon-2014-10-18T16:22:35.dv avprobe version 0.8.17-6:0.8.17-1, Copyright (c) 2007-2014 the Libav developers built on Mar 15 2015 17:00:31 with gcc 4.7.2 makercon-2014-10-18T16:22:35.dv: No such file or directory % File names without colons do not cause this problem. Can the tool be changed to handle file names with colon in them? -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.8 APT prefers oldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=nb_NO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nb_NO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libav-tools depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.16 ii libavcodec53 6:0.8.17-1 ii libavdevice53 6:0.8.17-1 ii libavfilter2 6:0.8.17-1 ii libavformat53 6:0.8.17-1 ii libavutil51 6:0.8.17-1 ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u8 ii libpostproc52 6:0.8.17-1 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15-5 ii libswscale2 6:0.8.17-1 libav-tools recommends no packages. libav-tools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
